Sukh Sagar Restaurant

We are right on the ground floor of Marina Mansion, which is one of those older buildings you see around Girgaon Chowpatty. Being so close to the beach means we deal with a lot of sand being tracked in and the air always feels a bit salty. It’s a busy spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is out for a walk by the water. We are right near Ideal Palace Restaurant, so this little corner of S V P Road gets quite crowded. Our place isn’t very big, but we’ve managed to fit enough tables for the families that come by. Mumbai is always moving fast and it feels like that inside here too. We’ve got staff who have been here for years and they know how to handle the weekend rush when it gets really loud. We just serve the food and keep things moving. It isn't a fancy place with decorations, just a regular restaurant where you can sit for a bit. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard to hear, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We open up early and stay late most nights. Most of our regulars are local people from the apartments nearby or folks heading back from the beach. We just try to keep the kitchen going and the water bottles filled. It's just us and the salt air coming off the ocean.
