Sukh Exports

It’s mostly just us here at Manimangal Society in Sion. We’ve been operating Sukh Exports out of this spot for a good while now. The building is number two, right in the middle of everything. Most mornings start with a lot of phone calls and checking on crates. It gets pretty humid in this part of Mumbai, especially when we’re trying to get stuff moved out on time. We handle the usual export paperwork and make sure things get where they need to go. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but we’re used to it. My desk is usually covered in papers and half-finished tea. We don’t have any fancy showroom or anything. It’s just a practical workspace where we manage the logistics. People stop by sometimes to ask about shipping, and we just tell them how it is. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. The society has its own rhythm, and we just fit into it. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a few of us making sure the daily tasks get done. If the internet is slow, we just take a break. We try to keep things straightforward. Shipping things abroad involves a lot of waiting, so we’ve learned to be patient. It’s a quiet enough corner of Sion once you get inside. We keep the doors open when it’s not too dusty. It’s just regular work for us and we don't make a big deal of it.
