Sujata Printers & Binding Works

We have been here at A-1, 29 in the Shah & Nahar Industrial Estate for quite some time now. Lower Parel has changed a lot around us, with all the big towers coming up, but our machines keep running just the same. It gets pretty loud in here when the presses are going, and there is usually a bit of ink on everyone's hands by lunchtime. We do mostly printing and binding work. People bring in their documents or books that need to be put together, and we just get on with it. The shop isn't fancy or anything. There are stacks of paper everywhere and the floor is a bit uneven, but it works for what we do. Sometimes the power plays up in the building, but we manage. We aren't really the type to have a big website or a fancy office. Most people just walk in or call us when they need something bound properly. It’s a busy place. My father started this and now we just keep the tradition going. We know the security guards and the chai guy downstairs pretty well. If you are looking for us, just head into the industrial estate and look for unit 29. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes with all the different units, but once you find us, you’ll see we are just regular people doing a regular job. We don’t have any big speeches to give about what we do. We just print things, bind them, and make sure they don’t fall apart. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We just stay here and work.
