Suhas Tempo Services

Suhas Tempo Services is tucked away in the Shapoorji Pallonji Compound. We are in the Parel area, specifically Govindpura Veda in Gandhinagar. If you know where KEM Hospital is, we are just opposite that. It is a very busy part of the city because of the hospital and all the traffic coming through. We spend most of our time in our tempos or standing around the compound waiting for the next load. Moving furniture and boxes is what we do every day. It is hard work on the back, but we are used to it by now. The roads around Parel are always jammed, so we have to know all the short cuts to get anywhere on time. We started with just a couple of vehicles and we are still doing the same basic work. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. We mostly sit where the tempos are parked and talk to the guys. When someone needs to move their house or their shop, they come find us. We tell them what the price is and then we get to lifting. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late at night. Sometimes we help people move things into the hospital area too. It is just a part of the local life here. We have been doing this for a while and we know how to handle the heavy stuff without making a fuss. The neighborhood is noisy but it feels right to us.
