Sudama Restaurant

Sudama Restaurant is located inside the Hotel Krishna Palace Residency on Sleater Road. We are at 96/98, right near the Nana Chowk area in Grant Road, Mumbai. This is an old part of the city, and it feels like it. The streets are narrow and there is always a lot of noise from the traffic and the trains nearby. Being inside the hotel means we get a mix of people staying upstairs and locals who live around Grant Road. We’ve been operating here for a while now. The restaurant isn't trying to be anything too modern. It’s a basic setup with tables and chairs where you can sit down for a meal. We focus on getting the food out on time. The kitchen is always busy, especially during dinner time when the hotel gets active. We are in the 400007 zip code, which is a very traditional Mumbai neighborhood. We don't spend money on big ads. Most people just know we are here because they walk past or live in the hotel. Our staff is mostly just regular folks who have been doing this for years. We keep the place clean and make sure there’s water on the tables. It’s a straightforward restaurant. We just open up every day and serve whoever comes through the door looking for a bite to eat. Some nights it gets quite loud with all the conversations, but that’s just how it is here.
