St. Wilfred's College Of Artscommerce & Science is situated out in Panvel, Navi Mumbai. Being in the 410206 postal area means we are a bit away from the main crush of south Mumbai, but it is still a very busy place. The college building is a fairly large structure that stands out in the neighborhood. We have a lot of students coming from all over the Maharashtra region, so the campus is always full of different languages and cultures. It is a standard college setup with rows of classrooms, some labs for the science students, and a library that stays pretty quiet. The commute can be a bit of a trek for some of the staff and students, especially when the trains are delayed or the rain is heavy. We have the usual routine of morning lectures and afternoon sessions. It is not a glamorous place by any means, just a solid building where people come to get their education in arts or commerce. The canteen is usually the loudest spot on campus, especially during the lunch break. We don't have any corporate-style goals pinned on the walls; we just focus on the daily schedule. Teachers here are hard workers who have been doing this for years. It is just a typical Navi Mumbai college life, where everyone is trying to balance their studies with the long journeys home. We are just here doing our jobs.
