Studio Osmosis

Up on the 9th floor of the Bomb building in Tardeo East, you will find our design office. We are in room 901, right near the AC Market and the Link Road. Being high up gives us a pretty decent view of the city, which is nice when we are stuck at our desks for long hours. Our space is usually covered in drawings, rolls of paper, and different material samples like wood and stone. It is a working studio, so it doesn't always look like a magazine cover. We spend our time working through design problems and trying to figure out how to make spaces look and work better. Sometimes the office is quiet with everyone focusing on their computers, and other times we are all sitting around a table talking through a project. Tardeo is a loud and busy part of Mumbai, so there is always a bit of street noise coming up from below the 3rd Cross B Street. We are just a group of people who enjoy the process of building and creating things. We don't really use a lot of complicated jargon when we talk about our work. Instead, we just focus on the practical side of getting things built right. People come by the office to discuss their plans or look at the models we have made. It is a steady flow of work that keeps us here from early morning until the sun goes down over the skyline.
