Structarch, Dhupelia Consultants. Our office is at 108-K, Budhaji House in Worli Village. Mumbai is a crowded place, and Worli Village is even more so with its narrow streets and old buildings. We are located near Arun Prakash Sangh. It’s an interesting place to work because you feel the history of the city right outside the door. We handle a mix of structural and architectural consulting. The office itself is in an old house, so it has that lived-in feel. It’s not like those shiny offices in the business parks. We have high ceilings and some old fans that keep the air moving. Some days the humidity in Mumbai is a lot, but we just keep the windows open and get on with it. We spend our time looking at blueprints and talking to clients about their building needs. Being in Worli means we are central, but being in the village part means it’s a bit more grounded. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just us consultants doing what we know best. We’ve been at Budhaji House for quite a while now and we know the local shops and the shortcuts through the lanes. It’s a busy, messy, and honest way to work, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We focus on the drawings and let the city buzz around us. It’s a good spot for what we do, and we feel connected to the neighborhood.
