Stone Masters (India) Ltd

Our office is on the second floor of 419-B in Joshi Wadi, right along the busy Kalbadevi Road. It is an old building in a very crowded part of the city, so you have to climb a narrow set of stairs to reach us. Dealing with stones means our space is usually filled with samples of granite, marble, and other materials we have collected over the years. It is not the most organized office you will ever see, as there are heavy slabs leaning against the walls and piles of paperwork on the desks. Kalbadevi Road is always full of traffic and people shouting, which we have just learned to ignore over time. Most of us have been working here for years and we are used to the cramped quarters and the constant activity. When people stop by to look at samples, we just show them what we have on the shelves without any big sales talk. It is a very hands-on kind of business where we spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the details of an order. We do not have a receptionist or a lobby with nice chairs. It is just a group of people working hard in a small space. We handle the paperwork and the logistics and try to keep everything on track despite the chaos of the city outside our window.
