Stomach II

We are located in Shops 8 and 9 of the Sea Green building over in Versova. It is part of the Raheja Complex at Seven Bungalows, 400061. This is our second spot, so we just call it Stomach II. Versova is a nice part of Mumbai to be in, especially since it is so close to the water. We have a small space here, but it is enough for us to do our daily work. Most of our time is spent in the kitchen area. We serve a lot of people from the neighborhood and those who are just passing through the complex on their way somewhere else. It is a busy little corner most of the time. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in the city or anything like that. We just want to make sure the food is ready when people want it and that the place is kept clean. Working in a shop like this means you really get to know the regulars. We see many of the same people every morning or evening. It is a lot of manual work, like lifting crates and cleaning dishes for hours. We don't have a big corporate office or anyone managing us from far away. It is just us running the shop day in and day out. Seven Bungalows is a good area to be in, and we like being near the sea even if we stay busy. It’s just a straightforward way to earn a living and we’ve been doing it this way for quite a while now.
