Our office is up on the 10th floor of the Universal Majestic building on P.L. Lokhande Marg in Chembur West. Working at Sterling and Wilson Powergen Pvt Ltd. means seeing a lot of the city from those windows, though we’re usually too busy to look out much. Chembur is a busy area, and being at this address puts us right in the thick of it. The 10th floor stays pretty active with people coming and going. We deal with power generation stuff, so there’s always a lot of technical talk happening in the hallways and around the desks. It’s a big space but it still feels crowded when everyone is in. The commute to Chembur can be tough, but the building is easy enough to find. We don’t have much in the way of fancy decorations; it’s mostly just desks, computers, and files everywhere. Usually, lunch is a quick affair, either something brought from home or ordered from one of the places downstairs. Sterling and Wilson Powergen Pvt Ltd. has a lot of moving parts, and we’re just the ones keeping things sorted from this Chembur office. It’s not always glamorous, and the air conditioning sometimes struggles with the Mumbai heat, but we get the work done. We’ve been at Universal Majestic for a bit now, and the routine is pretty set.
