We've been at No 8, Sitafalwadi for quite a while now. You can find us right on Dr. Mascarenhas Road, which some people still call Mount Road, here in Mazgaon. It’s a busy area but we like it. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the export work done. Mostly, we deal with the paperwork and shipping stuff that comes through. My father started things here and I just kept it going. There are about five of us working in the back. Sometimes the traffic on Mount Road gets a bit much, especially in the afternoons, but that’s just life in this part of town. We don't have a big sign or anything. Most people who need us already know where we are. We handle various goods going out of the country. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking lists. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets cluttered with files. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just doing our daily tasks. If you're coming by, look for the old gate near the corner. It's a solid building. We spend most of our day here, making sure the crates and documents are ready for the port. It's regular work. Nothing too exciting happens most days, but we stay busy. The tea stall nearby is where we usually take our breaks. It’s been our base for years and we don't plan on moving anywhere else soon.
