You can find Stationery Zone India at Door No-92/94 on Modi Street. We are in the Karachiwala Building, which is a very old and well-known spot near the Masjid in Fort. This area is always full of people and noise. There are delivery bikes everywhere and the streets are narrow. We have piles of paper and pens and all sorts of office supplies tucked into every corner of the shop. It is not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. Being in Fort means we see all kinds of people coming in and out all day. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fan going full blast. We’ve been here for a good while, and the building has that old Mumbai feel to it. It’s a bit of a maze on Modi Street sometimes. We spend most of our time answering the phone and packing boxes for people who need stuff for their offices nearby. It’s just us doing our thing every day. We don’t do much advertising; people just walk in because they know we are here. The Masjid nearby is a good landmark if you are trying to find the Karachiwala Building for the first time. It is a simple life of selling stationery and talking to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. We keep the shop open late most days to make sure we finish the orders.
