Standard Engineers

Standard Engineers is based on the 3rd Floor of Sharada Sadam, right in the Fort area. Fort is a busy part of the city with lots of old buildings and narrow streets. Our office is in one of those older structures where the ceilings are high and the walls are thick. To get to us, you usually have to take the old lift or walk up the stairs if it is stuck again. We don't do heavy manufacturing in this office. It is more of a technical space where we handle the engineering designs and the coordination for different projects. We have been in Sharada Sadam for quite a while now. The rooms are filled with desks and old cabinets full of files from years ago. You can hear the noise from the street outside all day long. It is a lively place to work. We are a small group of people who have been doing this for a long time. We don't have a corporate office feel at all. It is more like a family setting where everyone knows their job. We spend a lot of our time checking specs and talking to contractors. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It is just part of working in an old building in this part of town. We don't have fancy brochures. People know us because we have been around for so many years in the same spot.
