Sri Parameswari Traders

Our office is up in B 306 of the Lily Building. It's part of Dosti Acers in Antop Hill, over in Wadala East. Living and working in Mumbai means things are always a bit tight on space, and our place at Sri Parameswari Traders is no different. We deal with trading various goods. It's a lot of phone calls and checking lists to make sure everything is going where it should. The building is usually busy with people coming and going. We've got files stacked up and the computer is always humming. It’s not the most exciting place to look at, but it’s where we get the business handled. Sometimes the elevator takes forever, so we end up waiting around and chatting with the neighbors. We’ve been in this spot for a while. Being in 400037 puts us in a good position to reach different parts of the city. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. It's just a few of us making sure the orders are right and the deliveries are on time. Some days are slower than others. On the slow days, we might just sit and have some extra chai. When it’s busy, we’re barely looking up from the ledgers. It's a practical way to earn a living. We don't bother with fancy slogans. We just try to get the trading done without too many headaches. That’s the reality of running a small setup in Wadala for us.
