Sr Traders

We are located at number 23 in the Dun Shopping Center, which is part of the Lallubhai Amichand Compound. It’s an old industrial area, so it’s got a very specific kind of energy. Sr Traders is right in the thick of it. Every day there is the sound of trucks reversing and people shouting to be heard over the machinery nearby. Our unit is basically a warehouse space with a small area for us to sit and do the billing. It’s full of crates and boxes, and there’s always a bit of dust in the air from the surrounding compound. We don't spend money on fancy signs or decor because that’s not what we are about. We just trade goods and make sure they get to where they need to go. It’s a physical job, and we are usually tired by the time we lock up in the evening. There’s a tea stall just around the corner where we usually go once or twice a day to take a break and talk to the other traders. The Dun Shopping Center has been here for years, and you can see the history in the cracked pavement and the faded paint on the doors. We like it here because it’s practical and everyone is just trying to make a living. It’s not glamorous, but it’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday without fail.
