Spicejet Cargo Booking Office

Working out of Unit No 28/29 in Sahar Cargo Ind is pretty intense. We are in the A Wing, and since we are near Bombay Cambridge School, there is always traffic and kids around. This part of Andheri East is all about movement. We spend our time booking cargo and making sure all the boxes and crates are logged in correctly. It is a lot of weight checking and scanning documents. The office is utilitarian, mostly just desks and computers and a place for people to stand while they wait. Being a cargo office, we deal with a lot of different items coming through. Some days it is quiet, but most days it is a bit of a rush to get everything cleared for the flights. We hear the planes taking off nearby all the time. It is a dusty environment with all the trucks coming in and out of the industrial area. We keep some water and a fan going because it gets stuffy in the unit. Our team knows the routine well by now. We handle the paperwork for Spicejet shipments and try to keep the line moving. It is not a glamorous job, but it is necessary. We are usually here early to catch the first round of deliveries. It is just a part of the daily grind in Andheri cargo life. We try to keep things organized despite all the boxes everywhere.
