Spectron Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is based at 129 in the Andheri Industrial Estate, just off Veera Desai Road. If you’ve ever been to this part of Andheri West, you know it’s a constant buzz of activity. Our place is right in the thick of it. The workshop is where we spend nearly all our time, surrounded by technical drawings and various pieces of machinery that are usually in some state of being assembled or taken apart. It’s not a place for someone who likes to keep their hands clean, as there is always a bit of grease or oil on the surfaces. We have a small team of engineers and technicians who have been with us for a while. We don’t have a big corporate culture here; we just get together in the morning, talk about what needs to be done, and then get to it. The office is a small space with a couple of old computers and stacks of paper everywhere. Sometimes the traffic on Veera Desai Road makes it hard for deliveries to get here on time, which can be frustrating, but we’ve learned to work around it. During the afternoon, someone usually goes out to get tea for everyone, and we take a short break before finishing up. It’s honest work, and we don’t try to make it sound like anything more than what it is. It's just a regular shop doing what needs to get done.
