At Sparsha Fresh Fruits & Vegetables Agro Pvt. Ltd., we spend most of our time around Shop No. 17 in Shree Sidhivinayak Towers. We are located on Orlem Tank Road in Malad West. It's a busy residential area, so we see a lot of people going about their daily shopping. Our day usually starts way before the sun comes up when the trucks arrive with the fresh produce. Dealing with fruits and vegetables means you can't really take many days off because things go bad quickly. The shop is often filled with crates of mangoes, greens, and whatever else is in season. It smells quite nice, though it can get a bit messy with all the leaves and dirt. We have a small team of people who help with sorting and packing. The customers are mostly locals from the Chsl or nearby apartments. We know many of them by name after all these years. Sometimes the traffic on Tank Road makes it hard for the delivery vans to pull up, but we manage. We aren't some massive supermarket chain. We are just a local shop trying to get decent produce to the neighborhood. The floors are always being swept and the scales are always busy. It's a simple life focused on food and people. We just keep the crates moving and try to stay organized.
