Spacecrafts

We are located in Room Number 4 of the Kazi Building. It is right on Lohar Chawl Street over in Mahim West. If you have ever been to this specific part of the city, you know it is full of narrow streets and very old buildings. Our room is not very large at all, but it is where we do all our daily work and keep our tools. We have some sturdy workbenches and simple shelves lining the walls to hold everything we need for the day. Most of the time, we leave the door wide open so we can get a bit of a breeze coming in from the street. You can hear everything that goes on in the chawl around us—people talking, children playing, and the general hum of Mahim West. We have been in this specific room for quite a long time now. It has a lot of character, even if the floor is a bit uneven in certain places. We do not have any fancy displays or glass cases. Usually, if someone wants to see what we are doing, we just show them whatever we are currently working on or what is sitting on the racks. It is a very hands-on type of place to be. We do all our own cleaning and we usually eat our lunch right at our work desks. People from the other rooms in the Kazi Building often stop by just to say hello or ask a question. It is a very tight-knit community here on Lohar Chawl Street. We just keep our heads down and get our tasks finished one at a time. It is a simple life and we like it here.
