Space Interior

Our place is in the West View Building, specifically Building No 2, over in Santacruz West. We are near the Archies Gallery, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. Space Interior isn’t a huge showroom or anything fancy. It’s more of a workshop where we keep samples of wood, fabric, and some sketches. The address is 12-B, and we share the area with some other local businesses. Kudalwadi Chikhli isn’t too far off either. We spend a lot of time measuring things and trying to figure out how to make furniture fit in small rooms. It’s a lot of dust and noise when we are actually working on a piece. The office part is just a desk with a lot of scraps of paper on it. People come in to look at catalogs or talk about their homes. We don’t wear suits here. It’s mostly just jeans and old shirts because of all the glue and paint. Santacruz West is a busy neighborhood, so there’s always something happening outside the window. We’ve been in this building for a while and know the other tenants well. It's a practical way to run a business. We focus on the work itself rather than making the shop look like a museum. It’s a bit messy, but that’s how you know we are actually doing something. We just work on one project at a time and see it through.
