S.P. Civil Engineering

S.P. Civil Engineering is based out of the Meghji Building in Mumbai. We are in the 400 009 area of Maharashtra. The building is quite old and has that classic Mumbai feel to it. Our office is small. It is usually filled with rolls of blueprints and stacks of files. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations because we are mostly out on site anyway. Civil engineering in a city like this is a lot of hard work. You have to deal with tight spaces and old structures all the time. Our team is just a few people who have been working together for years. We don't really do any big advertising or have a marketing person. Most of our work comes from people who have heard about us through others in the trade. The traffic outside on the street is always loud. We usually keep the windows shut to hear ourselves talk. We spend our mornings checking schedules and making sure the materials are arriving at the sites on time. It is a lot of coordination and phone calls. Sometimes things go wrong at a site and we have to drop everything and go fix it. That is just how this business works. We don't try to make it sound like something it isn't. It is just labor and long hours. We’ve been at this address for a long time and we like being part of this neighborhood. It suits us just fine.
