Soni Art Jewellers

We are at Shop No 18 in the Anand Estate, which is over in Chinchpokli. It’s actually quite close to the Arthur Road Jail, so it’s a landmark most people recognize when they’re trying to find us. Soni Art Jewellers is a small shop, not like those huge showrooms you see in the malls. We have a few glass counters where we keep our items, and the lighting is just enough to see the details of the work. Most days, you’ll find us sitting behind the glass, maybe working on a small repair or cleaning something for a customer. It’s a quiet place for the most part. We’ve been in this area for a long time, and we know many of the families who live nearby. We don't spend money on big advertisements; we just rely on people walking by or hearing about us from their friends. The shop can get a bit crowded if more than three people are inside at once, so sometimes customers have to wait a moment. We take our work seriously but we don't act like it's a big corporate office. It's just a jewelry shop where we handle gold and stones with care. We try to be honest about what we can do and how long a repair might take. The estate itself is pretty busy, but once you step inside our shop, things feel a bit more relaxed and slow-paced. It’s just me and my brother working here most of the time.
