We are tucked away in Vidhya Vihar West, over in the Kurla area. It’s a busy part of the city, and things are always moving fast. Free Shopping Dot Co started as a small idea to help people get what they need without too much trouble. We operate out of this space, handling orders and making sure things get where they are supposed to go. It isn't a giant warehouse like the ones you see on TV, but we make it work with the room we have. Sometimes the packages pile up a bit high, but we manage to stay organized enough to find everything when a customer calls. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make shopping a bit easier for the local crowd and whoever else finds us online. Kurla is a great spot because it’s so central, though the traffic can be a real headache when we're trying to get things shipped out to the couriers. We have a few desks and a lot of packing tape lying around. Most of our time is spent checking lists and making sure the items are in good shape before they leave. It’s just a handful of us here, doing the daily grind. We like it this way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. If a customer has a question, they usually end up talking to one of us directly, not some robot. We just want to get the boxes out on time.
