Sol Style Studio

Our studio is located at 9/10 Mulraj Bhawan on A D Marg, which is quite close to the Sewri Bus Depot. If you are coming from Berlie Street, you can’t miss the building. It’s an old place with a lot of character and maybe a few cracks in the plaster here and there. At Sol Style Studio, we have two rooms that we use for everything from designing to storage. The sound of the buses coming and going from the depot is something you just get used to after a week of working here. We don’t have a big sign outside, so most people who find us are looking for us specifically. Inside, it’s a bit of a creative mess with fabric swatches and sketches pinned up on the boards. We don’t really follow a strict schedule; we stay until the work is finished, which sometimes means late nights under the humming tube lights. The flooring is that old stone that stays cool even when it’s boiling outside, which is a blessing. We usually share a pot of tea in the afternoons and talk about what we’re going to work on next. It’s not a polished showroom with a doorman. It’s just a place where we put in the hours and try to make things that look good. We like the vibe of Sewri because it feels real and not too polished.
