Soham Decorators

We have been at No 1 in the Khandke Building for a long time. It is a busy spot in Dadar East, right on the 1A Main Road. Most people find us because we are so close to Plaza Cinema. There is always a lot of noise from the street outside, and the traffic near Gokula Phase III can get really bad in the afternoons. I know the address sounds a bit like it is in two different cities, but we are right here in the heart of the area where things happen. Inside the shop, things are usually a bit cluttered with all the decorating materials we keep on hand. We spend most of our mornings checking through the inventory and making sure we have enough fabric and lights for whatever job is coming up next. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop where we do our work. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back door during the monsoon, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We see a lot of the same faces walking by every day toward the station. Working in Dadar means you are always in the middle of everything. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to get things done. We take our tea breaks together when the shop isn't too crowded. The building itself is old, but it has a lot of character and everyone in the neighborhood knows where it is.
