Our shop is number 5 in the Shreenath Bhuvan building over in D Dahisar West. It’s a typical local garage where there is usually at least one car with its hood up and someone leaning over the engine. The floor is stained with oil, and the shelves are packed with spare parts, oil cans, and old tools. We spend most of our time getting our hands dirty fixing whatever comes through the door. It might be a brake issue one day or a weird noise in the engine the next. We don't have a clean waiting room with a coffee machine. Most of our customers just stand around and chat with us while we work or drop their keys and come back later. Dahisar is a busy place, and there are always people needing their vehicles looked at so they can get back to work. We just do the repairs as they come. Sometimes we are working late under the shop lights to finish a job that turned out to be harder than it looked. It is practical work, and we take it as it comes. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just the one where you can get your car fixed without a lot of talking. It’s just us, the tools, and the cars, trying to keep things running for the people in our neighborhood.
