Paras Auto Centre

Down in Malad West 2, you will find Paras Auto Centre. It is basically a big garage where we spend the whole day under the hoods of cars or lying on those little creepers on the floor. The walls are covered in old calendars and tools that have been there for years. We handle everything from oil changes to fixing engines that make noises they shouldn't. It is a noisy place with the sound of pneumatic wrenches and engines revving up. We get a lot of dust from the street, and the floor is stained with oil that never really comes out. People around Malad West 2 know us as the place where you can get a straight answer about what’s wrong with your vehicle. There is no waiting room with coffee or fancy chairs; you just stand around or sit on a plastic stool if one is free. We are usually covered in grease by noon. Sometimes we have to wait a couple of days for a specific part to arrive, and we just have to tell the customer to be patient. It’s not a high-end service center with glass walls. It is just a workspace where we use our hands and a lot of wrenches to keep things running. The heat in the summer makes the metal parts burn to the touch, but we just keep going. It is a simple, hardworking shop.
