Sln School Leaders Network Foundation

You can find our foundation on the 13th floor of Kalpataru Heights in Agripada. It’s a tall building near Jacob Circle, and the view from up here is quite something, looking out over the Mumbai rooftops. We work with school leaders and principals to help them connect with each other. It’s more of a network than a traditional school. We have a lot of meetings in the office, where people sit around and talk about the problems they face in their own schools. The room is filled with notebooks and reports from various education projects. It’s a busy place, especially when we are organizing a big event or a meeting. We don't have any polished marketing materials. We just use a lot of emails and phone calls to keep everyone in the loop. The staff here is dedicated to the day-to-day coordination. Sometimes the elevator takes forever because it’s a high-rise building, so we have to plan our trips downstairs carefully. We have a small table for coffee and snacks during the long afternoon sessions. It feels more like a community center for educators than a corporate office. We deal with a lot of different personalities, and things can get quite lively during our discussions. We focus on the practical side of running a school and sharing what works. It’s just us doing our part in the middle of a very big city.
