Skom Chemicals

Our office is up on the 6th floor of Little Heights. If you know Bandra West, you know how the Link Road gets during the rush hour. It’s pretty much a standstill down there while we are up here working at Skom Chemicals. We deal with chemical supplies, which sounds more complicated than it is once you get used to the paperwork and the sourcing. Being in Chamb area means we are close to everything but the traffic is the main thing we talk about during tea breaks. The building is okay, nothing too fancy, just a standard place where people get their work done. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists of what needs to go out to customers. Sometimes the lift takes forever, so we just wait and chat in the lobby for a few minutes. It’s mostly about keeping the supplies moving and making sure the orders are right. Bandra has changed so much lately, with new shops popping up everywhere, but we just stay focused on what’s happening here in our unit. The 6th floor gives us a decent view of the rooftops around us. It is a busy life, honestly. We don't really have time for anything flashy, just the usual business stuff day in and day out. Most of the guys have been here a long time, so we know how to handle the busy days without getting too stressed out about it.
