Sivira Dye-Chem Industries

Sivira Dye-Chem Industries is located up in A-1202 at Suraj Heights in Goregaon East. Being in a high-rise building means we get a decent view of the area, though we’re usually too busy with the dyes and chemicals to look out the window much. Goregaon is always moving fast, and getting to the office can be a bit of a struggle with the traffic downstairs. Inside, it’s a mix of office space and storage for our samples. Dyes are tricky to work with because they tend to get on everything if you aren't careful, so we have to be pretty mindful of where we put things down. The walls are white but you can see where some color has splashed over the years. We spend our days coordinating with the factories and making sure the chemical batches are right. It’s a lot of back-and-forth emails and checking the same lists twice. The elevator in Suraj Heights is always full of people from other offices, so we hear a lot of chatter during the day. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, and the building gets very quiet then. We’ve been here for a while and the routine feels natural now. It’s just a regular place where we work hard and try to stay organized amidst all the color and chemistry. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we know how to do well and we keep at it.
