Burhani Collections

We’re located at 25 Geet Building in Siraj Wadi, right on Veer Sawarkar Marg. Burhani Collections is a place where we keep a lot of different clothes and fabrics. The building is an older one and we’ve been here for a bit. It’s a bit of a walk up if you’re coming from the main road. Inside, it’s mostly racks and shelves filled with whatever we’ve managed to get in that week. We don’t have those fancy mannequins in the window. We just hang things up where there’s space. Siraj Wadi is a busy little pocket and we get a lot of local ladies coming in to see what’s new. Sometimes the lighting isn't the best, so we have to take the fabric to the door to see the real color in the sunlight. It’s a small operation, mostly just family helping out. We spend time folding things and making sure the piles don’t fall over. It’s not a big mall store where everything is perfect. Sometimes a button is loose or a thread needs clipping, and we just handle it ourselves. People like to haggle a bit, which is just how it goes around here. We enjoy the chat and seeing the regulars. It's a simple shop with a lot of variety if you're willing to look through the racks and see what we have.
