We’ve been here at 35, N S Patkar Marg for a long time now. People usually find us easily because we are right near the petrol pump in Gamdevi. It’s an old building, nothing too fancy, but it holds a lot of history. Most days start early for us. We handle a mix of things here, from food to crafts, and it keeps everyone quite busy. The staff has been around for years, so we all know each other well. When you walk in from Hughes Road, you’ll notice it’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the noisy street outside. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just know us through word of mouth or they’ve been coming here since they were kids with their parents. There’s always someone working on something, whether it’s in the kitchen or the sewing rooms upstairs. It gets a bit crowded during lunch hours, especially with folks coming in for a quick bite. We just try to keep things running smoothly and make sure the quality stays the same as it was years ago. It’s not a corporate setup at all; it’s more like a community place. Sometimes the floors are a bit worn out, but that’s just how it is with these old Mumbai buildings. We like it that way. If you’re passing by the petrol pump, you can’t miss the entrance. It’s a steady pace here, and we just do our work every day without too much fuss.
