Our office is up in Swastik Chambers, room No. 516, along the busy Sion-Trombay Road Trombay Road. If you come by, you’ll see we have a lot of samples and ledgers sitting around. We deal with various chemical compounds and colors every day. It’s not the most glamorous work, mostly involving checking specifications and making sure the batches are what they need to be. The traffic on Trombay Road can be a nightmare, so we’re usually here early to get a head start on the day’s paperwork. We talk to suppliers and customers constantly, trying to get the right hues and mixtures sorted out. It’s a lot of technical talk and looking at numbers on a screen. Our space isn't huge, so we have to stay organized, even if sometimes the desk gets buried under delivery notes and lab reports. We’ve been in this building for a while now and have gotten used to the rhythm of the place. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations. Instead, we focus on the actual chemicals and making sure the quality is consistent. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed or a specific color is hard to find, and that’s when things get a bit stressful around the office. But usually, it’s just a steady flow of work. We’re just a small group of people who understand the chemical trade and keep things moving from our corner in Sion-Trombay. We keep several heavy catalogs on the shelf just in case.
