Modern Art Glass

Modern Art Glass is located at Shop Number 2 in the Rajgir Sadan, which is part of the Laxmi Building. If you are near Sion Station, you are basically right there. It’s a very convenient spot for us because of all the people coming and going from the station area. The shop is usually filled with different types of glass and tools. It can get a bit dusty with all the cutting and smoothing we do, but that is just part of the trade. We have been in this building for a while and the neighbors are all pretty familiar now. Working with glass takes a lot of patience and a steady hand. We don't really have a big showroom; it is more of a workshop where the actual work happens. You can see us measuring things out or loading pieces onto the back of a truck. Sion is always busy, so there is never a dull moment outside the door. We handle a lot of small orders for homes and some bigger stuff for shops nearby. It’s a very hands-on type of business. We don't really do much online, we just prefer when people come in and show us what they need. It is easier to get the measurements right that way. It’s just a regular local shop doing its thing day after day. We just try to keep the glass clean and the edges smooth.
