Sion Hospital

This entrance of Sion Hospital is right near the Jain Society, not far from the Matunga Flyover. Because of the flyover, there’s a constant hum of traffic and horns in the background all day long. It’s a busy intersection, so people are always coming and going. This spot is a bit of a landmark for locals who use the society as a reference point when giving directions. The hospital grounds here feel very connected to the city's pulse. We see a lot of commuters and local residents dropping in for various reasons. The gates are usually busy with ambulances or people trying to find parking, which is never easy around here. Inside, it’s the usual hospital scene. We have a lot of different departments accessible from this side of the property. It’s an old part of the city, and the building reflects that with its thick walls and high ceilings. We try to help people find where they need to go, as the layout can be confusing with all the different wings and extensions. Rain or shine, the area around the Jain Society stays crowded. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s a place where a lot of important things happen every hour. You get used to the noise and the pace after a while. It’s just part of being in this corner of Matunga and Sion.
