Our office for Sinclair Knight Merz (India)Pvt.Ltd is situated at B/17, Plot No 149 in the Shivneri CHS. It’s part of RSC 35 in Gorai 2, which is in Borivali West, Mumbai. Being in a housing society means we are right in the middle of a busy residential area. Mumbai is always crowded and noisy, and Borivali is no different. You can hear the sounds of the city from our windows all day long. We have a small team working here on the 400092 pin code. It’s not a flashy corporate tower. It’s just a solid office space inside a building where people also live. We spend a lot of time on our computers and on the phone. The commute can be a bit of a nightmare during the rains, but we all manage to get here. We don't have a cafeteria, so we usually bring our own lunch or get something from the local stalls nearby. The office is practical. We have some files, a few desks, and a printer that occasionally jams. We do engineering and consulting work, but we don't act like we are better than anyone else. We just do the job that needs doing. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, but mostly we try to keep a normal schedule. It’s a very Mumbai way of working—just getting on with things despite the heat and the crowds that never seem to go away.
