Simon Communication Link

We’ve got a small setup called Simon Communication Link over in Byculla. You can find us at 332 on 8th Main. It’s mostly about phones and connections here. The walls are covered with posters and small accessories. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes with all the wires and sim cards lying around. We’ve been in Byculla for a good while. The shop isn't big, but it’s where we do all our work. People come in when they can’t get their phone to work or need a new recharge. It’s a lot of talking to people and trying to explain how things function. We aren't a big company with a corporate office. It’s just a few of us trying to help out. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and people walking by. We have a small counter where most of the business happens. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait, which is annoying but that’s life. We don’t use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just a local link for communication stuff. We keep some spare parts in the drawers and a lot of old phones that we use for spares. It's a practical place for practical problems. Most of our days are spent troubleshooting small issues for the neighbors. It’s steady work and we like being part of the 8th Main community. Sometimes someone brings in a really old device and we have to hunt around to find the right charger for it. It feels good when we get it turned on.
