Sigma Enterprises

Sigma Enterprises is located at Shop 27 on 1st Panjrapole Lane in Sarvodaya Nagar. It is a pretty narrow lane, so if a big truck comes through, everyone has to pull their displays back inside for a minute. We have been in this particular spot for quite some time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but there is never a good time to move everything out of the way to actually do it. We sell a variety of items that people in the neighborhood need for their homes or small repair projects. You will find me or my nephew behind the counter most days of the week. We do not have a fancy computer system; we still write down most of our sales in a big ledger book that has seen better days. It is a bit dusty because of all the construction happening nearby, but that is just life in this part of town. We know the milkman, the guy who sells tea at the corner, and most of the residents who walk past our door every morning. We do not really do any advertising. People just know we are here if they need something specific. It is a quiet kind of busy. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the news, and other days we do not even have time to eat lunch. It is simple and it works for us. (247 words)
