Sigma Chemical Industries

You can find Sigma Chemical Industries at 341 Navghar Marg, which is right off L B S Marg. That area is always busy with trucks and people moving things around. We started this business because there was a lot of work to be done in this part of town. Our office is right in the thick of the industrial movement. L B S Marg is a major road, so there is always a bit of dust and noise, but that is just how it is here. Our space is filled with drums and containers most of the time. We spend our mornings checking what has come in and what needs to go out to the customers. It is a lot of physical work along with the billing and paperwork. Navghar Marg has its own rhythm, and we have become part of it over the years. We know the other business owners on the block and sometimes share a tea. We do not use any fancy systems, just a lot of lists and a good memory for who needs what. Sometimes the monsoon makes things difficult with the loading and unloading, but we manage. We are not a big corporation with departments; we all just pitch in where needed. Whether it is answering the door or checking a batch of chemicals, it gets done. We have been at 341 for a good while now, and it feels like a second home.
