Started the shop in Vile Parle East because it’s a good spot. We are up on the first floor of Shyam Kamal Build. It’s Shop No 1 A, so not too hard to find once you get inside. We mostly deal with appliances here. People come in with broken stuff or looking for something new for their kitchens. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going. The fourth main road is always noisy with traffic, but you get used to it after a few years. We spend most of our time opening boxes or talking to customers about why their mixer isn't working right. It isn't a fancy place with big lights. It is just a regular shop where we try to get things done. Sometimes the delivery guys struggle with the address because of how the shops are numbered, but we just tell them to look for the first floor sign. Vile Parle has changed a lot, but this building stays pretty much the same. We have a lot of regular people from the neighborhood who stop by just to say hello or ask for a small part. It’s a simple way to make a living. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us handling the counter and the repairs. Usually, the mornings are for cleaning and the evenings are for the rush. It’s just how it goes here every day. It's nothing special, just a local business doing its best to serve the folks who live nearby.
