Shyam Auto Spares is located in Charni Road, specifically at Shop No 7 in the Saraswati Bhuvan Co building. It’s part of Jyotiba Nagar, Plot No 04, right at Gatt No 198. It’s a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address to people, but most locals just know the corner. We spend our days surrounded by engine parts, oils, and all sorts of bits for cars and bikes. The shop is small and usually smells a bit like grease and old metal. That's just the nature of this business. We keep a lot of stock on high shelves, so there’s always someone on a ladder looking for a specific bolt or a gasket. I started this place because I grew up around cars and liked the work. It’s not a fancy showroom with shiny floors and air conditioning. It’s a real workshop environment where things get dirty. We know most of the mechanics in the area. They come by when they’re missing a part for a repair they are doing. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us and the customers. Sometimes the shop gets very crowded when a big delivery arrives and we have to stack boxes in the aisle. Charni Road is a hectic place to work, but we like the energy of the street. We’ve been in the Saraswati Bhuvan building for a long time. People trust us to have the right part for their old vehicles. We just try to be helpful and honest about what we have in stock. It’s a basic life, but we enjoy the work and the people we meet every day.
