Shushrusha Hospital Dadar

Dadar is a hectic place, and Ranade Road is right in the heart of that chaos. Our hospital is situated right there, amidst the crowds and the market stalls. If you are coming from the station, it is quite a walk through the people, but we have been part of this street for a long time. The building has that old Mumbai feel to it. It’s tall and has seen many monsoons. Inside, the ceilings are high and the fans spin fast to keep the air moving. It can get quite humid during the summer months. We have a lot of history in these walls. You can hear the sounds of the street vendors outside if you are in the rooms facing the road. It’s a very busy hospital because of the location. There is always someone coming in or someone being discharged. We don't have any of those modern glass walls or minimalist furniture. It’s all very functional—wooden desks, metal cabinets, and plenty of chairs for everyone’s relatives. The staff knows how to navigate the narrow hallways without bumping into each other. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but that’s just how Dadar is. We are just a local hospital that has been here through the years, seeing the city change while we stay pretty much the same. People know where we are, right there on Ranade Road, and they come to us when they need a doctor for something serious or just a checkup.
