You’ll find us at Unit 11 in the Shiva Industrial Estate on Lake Road in Bhandup West. Bhandup is one of those places that feels like a maze sometimes with all the small roads and industrial parks. We are right there in the middle of it. We work on flexible packaging. The warehouse is usually full of rolls of material and the smell of ink and plastic. It’s a busy environment. We have machines running most of the time, so you have to speak up a bit when you’re on the floor. It’s not a quiet office job. We deal with a lot of different orders, some big and some small. The team here is mostly local people who live nearby. We’ve been in Shiva Industrial Estate for quite a while now. The rain can be a problem on Lake Road because it floods a bit, but we’ve learned to manage. We don't have fancy brochures or a big sales team. We just take the orders and make sure the packaging is cut and printed the way it needs to be. It’s practical work. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the day fixing them, but that’s just part of the business. We have our lunch together and then get back to it. It’s a simple life, focused on getting the products out the door. If you’re coming to see us, the entrance to the estate is sometimes blocked by delivery trucks, so be careful.
