Shroff Roadways

Shroff Roadways is located at 165/167 Mandvi. This area is one of the oldest and busiest parts of the city, and it is always full of energy. There are trucks and carts moving through the narrow lanes at all hours of the day. Our office is right in the thick of it. It’s a plain space with a lot of ledgers and some old wooden furniture. We spend most of our time talking to drivers and making sure the goods are being moved as they should be. Mandvi is a place where you really have to know your way around or you will get stuck in traffic for hours. We have been here long enough that we know all the shortcuts and the people running the other stalls nearby. It gets very loud with all the shouting and the engines, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who have been doing this for years. The walls in the office are a bit stained from the smoke outside, and the ceiling fan makes a loud noise when it's on high speed. It’s not a polished environment, but it’s where the real work happens. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot and stay until the last load is sorted. It is hard work, but it’s what we know how to do.
