Shrishti Creations

Being on S. V. Road in Andheri West means there is never a quiet moment. Shrishti Creations is in the Manu Bharti building at 15/b. It’s a bit of a climb if you aren't used to it. The space is filled with sketches, fabric scraps, and half-finished projects. It looks a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time at the worktables, cutting and pinning things together. Mumbai moves so fast outside our window, but inside, we try to focus on the details. We aren't a high-end boutique with a fancy doorman. We’re just a small team making things we hope people like. The humidity can be a real pain for the fabrics, so we have to be careful. Sometimes we stay late when a project is giving us trouble. We eat our lunch together at one of the larger tables after clearing away the thread. It’s a tight-knit group here. We’ve seen other businesses come and go in this building, but we’ve managed to stick around. Our walls are covered in notes and old patterns. It’s a real workshop. We don't have time for fancy marketing; we just focus on the work sitting in front of us. It’s a bit cramped, but it’s our space and we like it. We just keep creating whatever comes next on the list.
