Shrikant Agro Agencies has an office at No. 9 D.T. House. We are right near the Godfrey Phillips building on Andheri Sahar Road in Chakala. If you are in Andheri East, you know this landmark. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai. The traffic on Sahar Road is something we deal with every single day. Our office in D.T. House is fairly simple. We don't have any fancy decorations. There are just desks, some filing cabinets, and a few chairs for people who come to visit. We deal with a lot of agricultural stuff, so there’s always talk about crops and seasons. It feels a bit strange to talk about farming while sitting in the middle of a concrete jungle like Chakala, but that’s the business. We get a lot of phone calls from out of town. The office can get quite loud when everyone is talking at once. We’ve been in this location for a long time. The building is a bit worn down, but it’s sturdy. Sometimes the elevator acts up, so we just take the stairs. It’s good for us. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re a corporate giant. We’re just a local agency doing our job near the big tobacco factory. We know the chai wallah and the security guards on this street. It’s a hectic life in Andheri East, but we have made our peace with the noise and the constant rush of people.
