Shri Krishna Agencies is tucked away at 2, Mahavir Nagar. It’s a relatively quiet spot compared to the main roads, which we actually prefer. We handle various agency tasks, which basically means we are the middle people for a lot of different goods. Our day starts early, usually before the sun is fully up, getting things ready for the morning deliveries. The space we have is more functional than pretty. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling and a floor that is constantly being swept because of all the footprints. The team here is small, just a few of us who have known each other for a long time. We don't really have a big corporate structure. Everyone just helps out where they are needed. If the truck needs loading, we all go out and do it. If the phone is ringing off the hook, we all take turns answering. Sometimes we make mistakes, like forgetting a small item on an invoice, but we always try to fix it as soon as we realize. It’s a very human way of doing things. We don't have a website that looks like it cost a fortune. Most of our regulars just have our mobile numbers saved. We enjoy the routine of it all. Mahavir Nagar is a nice neighborhood, and we’ve gotten to know the people living around us. It feels more like a community than just a place of business. We’re just here doing our bit.
