Shri Gajanand Tempo Services

My name is part of the team here at Shri Gajanand Tempo Services. We operate out of Mohan Nagar in Goregaon East, right on Vishweshwar Road which is just off Aarey Road. It’s a good spot because we can get onto the main roads fairly quickly, though the traffic near Aarey can be a mess. We have a few tempos that we use for moving stuff like furniture, appliances, or just boxes when someone is shifting their house. I’m usually the one picking up the phone and figuring out if we have a vehicle free for a specific time. Sometimes people call last minute and we try to see if someone can make it. Our drivers know the shortcuts around Goregaon and Malad pretty well, which helps. The office is small, just a place to keep the keys and some records. Most of the time we are out on the road or helping someone load up a tempo. It’s physical work. You get used to lifting heavy things and making sure they are tied down properly so nothing breaks. Mohan Nagar is a busy residential area, so we often help our neighbors when they are moving. We don't have a website or anything like that. People mostly find us through word of mouth or by seeing the tempos parked near the road. It’s a simple life, keeping the vehicles running and making sure the drivers are ready for the next job every single day.
