Shri Annapurna Punjabi Dine

Located in the Girgaon neighborhood, our little spot is in the Govardhandas Building on JSS Road. We are Shop No. 4, sitting right beside the Central Plaza Cinema. If you’re walking towards the Girgaon Church, you’ll pass right by us. Mumbai is always moving, and JSS Road is no exception. We get a lot of people coming in after seeing a movie or before they head home. Shri Annapurna Punjabi Dine is our attempt to bring some good flavors to this part of the city. We have a few tables squeezed in, and it can get a bit tight during the dinner rush. The kitchen is small but we manage to put out a lot of food every day. We focus on the dishes we know people like. You might hear the chefs shouting orders or the sound of the pans clanging. It’s a lively atmosphere. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some simple stuff to make it feel like a restaurant. Sometimes the wait for a table can be a bit long on Friday nights, but we try to move as fast as we can. It’s just a local Punjabi place in a classic Mumbai building. We’ve been here long enough that some of the regulars don’t even need a menu anymore. We just keep cooking and serving the people who walk through our door.
